BI Analyst/ Development/ SQL/ SSRS/ MS Business Stack/ Midlands/ £32,000 per annum/ Amazing Bonus!

At Spring Technology we are recruiting for the roles of two BI Analysts to be based within the Midlands, for our hugely successful client. Our client is a relatively young, yet prosperous banking company, aiming to expand their digital aspect of their business. They now have over ten bases nationwide and achieved revenue of over £10M last year!

The Role:

In the role of BI Analyst, you will be expected to fulfil the client's requirement of regular data and information updates. This could take place in the form of daily, monthly, bi-monthly, six-month, annual and/or ad hoc reports.

To build these reports you will be required to use the Microsoft BI stack (in particular SSRS). Through the information you gain from this, you will provide this analysis to the Management Team, in order for them to make better judgements on the direct of the business. You will be responsible for the quality of data and management of all MI/BI solutions; and managing reporting and ensuring all reporting is accurate and consolidated. There will also be a development component to this role, where you will be responsible for maintaining, developing and improving dashboards - thus improving the worth of the business.

You will also be responsible for the creation and improvements of dashboards using SQL server; thus improving the value of the business.

The responsibilities of this role will include (but not limited to):

- Work with the BI Analyst Lead to deliver data results and analysis for the Client

- Deliver business intelligence for taking decisions in the Client

- Assist the Bank with the development of automation for various key reports

- Communicate to the business the importance of quality data and hold workshops etc. as required

- Work with suppliers of MI/BI solutions to ensure that the best quality solutions are used by the business

- Work within the Operational control team to ensure that the operations of the Bank run smoothly

- Provide recommendation for tools to improve data extraction and presentation

- Develop the overarching data management and reporting strategy for the Client

- Develop/ improve/adjust dashboards using SQL Server

Requirements for this role:

*Meaningful experience of up to date data collection, analysis and reporting technology and the ability to learn new data management technologies and use in day to day work

*Working knowledge and experience of business functionality and its linkage with data on systems.

*Excellent technical knowledge of the Banks systems and experience of producing data maps.

*Good understanding of SSRS and SSIS technologies and using this tools for automation.

*Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and expert knowledge of Excel and other MI solutions.

*Proven track record of analytical and problem solving abilities, accuracy and attention to detail

*Strong written and oral communication skills and stakeholder communication and liaison

* Strong skills scripting using SQL Server
