Chief Technology Offier, CTO, required for a fast growing FTSE 250 company based near Charing Cross, Central London to help support a period of considerable change and subsequent growth. Ideally, the successful CTO will have moved up the ranks from an Infrastructure backgound and have a passion on how IT can assist a businesses growth.

A newly created senior level role, the Chief Technology Officer will work closely with the Chief Information Officer and will take responsibility for leading and driving the direction, development and implementation of the global technology strategy and roll-out programme. Although, this is a large company, the individuals in the Head Office remain grounded, and still operate a Small Business Mentallity, which to some can be quite exhilerating, as it si not removed from the ground floor.

You will also be the group's IS security experience and take responsibility for the design, documentation and roll-out of a new IS policy.

You will need -

·A degree in a relevant discipline

·10 years' + experience in a similar global / multi-site role (it is ESSENTIAL that you have held a CTO role previously) and have moved up the ranks preferably from an Infrasturcure background and if possible within the Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics or similar industries,

Plus, demonstrable experience in all of the following -

·Strong leadership and change management skills

·Large scale programme and project management (PRINCE2)

·IS Security specialist (ISO27001 or equivalent) with auditing experience

·IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) process and procedure standardisation

·Office 365 tenancy design and roll-out

·Server and desktop standardisation (SCCM)

You will need to be highly professional with a consultative approach coupled with exceptional communication and influencing skills. As the company are going through a huge amount of change, you will need the gravitas and strength to lead the management team through this successfully.

Whilst the position in based in SW London, you will be required to spend up to 50% of the time travelling internationally.

In return, the company are offering a basic salary in the region of £110k with bonus and full suite corporate benefits.
