Systems Design Analyst

A leading investment bank is looking for a System Design Analyst to come in and assist the Design Lead in managing day to day activities, including tracking deliverables during planning and execution phases, taking a leading role in the continuous improvement activities of processes, tools, techniques, utilities and customer experience.

Role responsibility

- Formulate technology options, evaluate alternatives and make recommendations to senior stakeholders on how to best solve the business problem. This to include the provision of high level estimates that can be used when negotiating costs vs. business benefits.

- Develop robust and innovative system designs (that include user interface, data and process design), covering a range of complex system components.

- Document requirements and functional specifications using industry standard modelling techniques and

- Use Cases, User Stories and process modelling

- UML, Visio and Enterprise Architect

- Service Layers, Application Interfaces, Databases
