The role with focus on maintenance and development of our web authentication services and will require good Linux system administrator skills, as well as an understanding of authentication and LDAP.

As part of your responsibilities you will be supporting our key SSO and federated authentication products, resolving tickets and working alongside senior members of the team to improve your technical ability. Training will be provided in the SSO and federated technology used by the university (Shibboleth/CAS).

Specific role requirements

The key skills required are: Linux system administration, as well as an understanding of authentication and LDAP.

Knowledge and experience in any of the following would be desirable: previous development experience with LDAP/authentication services, Microsoft SQL, jRuby, Rails,

CSS, Jira, Git, Subversion
