Infrastructure Support Analyst - Datacentre & Network Services

Solid 3rd Line Infrastructure Support, Microsoft Systems Genealogy, Windows 2008-2016, System Centre / Intune / Office 365, AV & Security Management, Encryption & End Point Security, Virtualisation & Storage, DNS / DHCP / IP / Active Directory / Group Policy / PowerShell.

Fixed Term 9 Month Contract - Birmingham, City Centre, West Midlands

£35,000 to £40,000 + Bonus & Excellent Benefits Package

Are you an IT Professional with a solid technical background in IT Infrastructure who thrives on the challenge of maintaining IT infrastructure, Datacentre and Network service resilience, service improvement and vendor specific tasks?

Your day to day tasks will involve requirements such as:

* Delivery of IT services including Datacentre and Network services

* Manage vendors to deliver IT services as requested by the Technical Services Infrastructure Manager

* Providing Infrastructure Management best practices and align to industry standards

* Resolving incidents and problems as escalated by Service Delivery Team

* Responding to critical incidents as part of on-going pro-active analysis

* Maintaining the Infrastructure platform to ensure fixes, upgrades and infrastructure are able to meet business requirements

* Actively engage in the gathering of technical requirements for new projects as required

* Responsible for communication between the project and business users where project delivery is solely within the remit of the Infrastructure service

* Quality assurance of project developments to ensure they are fit for purpose

* To understand the project technical deliverables and agree how these will be delivered to the project

* Engage internal teams and 3rdparties as required to develop implementation proposals and associated delivery costs to meet project requirements and provide these to the project manager

* Work with the Service Managers, Software Managers, Project Managers and Architecture Function to ensure that all IT infrastructure(s) adhere to the company standards

Your technical scope will include:

* Solid 3rdLine Infrastructure support experience

* Microsoft Operating Systems Genealogy from Windows 2008-2016

* Microsoft Applications such as System Centre/Intune/Office 365

* AV & Security management applications

* Encryption and end point security products

* Virtualisation and Storage

* DNS/DHCP/IP/Active Directory/Group Policy/PowerShell

* Excellent Troubleshooting skills

* Good Communicator

* Microsoft and ITIL Accredited
