A public sector organisation in the North West are looking for an Information Governance Support Officer to join their team. If you have the ability to use the IG toolkit, then you could be the Support Officer that we're looking for.

What will you be doing?

As the Information Governance Support Officer, you'll display excellent communication skills when providing advice and guidance in relation to all aspects of information governance for all of the organisation's customers. You'll demonstrate meticulous attention to detail when providing legislative advice in relation to all aspects of the law and will support the development of annual training programmes. Furthermore, you'll provide remote information governance support to external partners and will implement Information Security Standards and ISO27001 International Standards.

The role involves travel across the local area to meet with external partners so it is essential that you have a car.

What skills/experience should you have?

* Ability to use the IG toolkit

* Extensive, up to date knowledge of Data Protection

* Experience of using Dashboard

* Proven ability to train individuals

* Knowledge of GDPR
