Modality Systems is an award-winning technical consulting and software development company focused on Microsoft’s Unified Communications technologies - Microsoft Skype for Business. We’ve developed custom software applications and products for a broad range of customers on platforms including Windows and Apple iOS. We have offices in St. Albans and Norwich in the UK, and Kirkland, WA in the US.

Summary:

To provide support to the Solutions and Project Management teams and ensure excellent service to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:

- Project and Resource coordination
- Generating licence keys and managing software delivery to end customers
- Liaising with customers on order queries
- Maintaining excel schedule of software orders including order pipeline and highlight reports
- Subscription renewals
- Project Administration - assisting Solutions Team (minutes, scheduling meetings etc.)
- Liaising with internal Sales Teams on customer order renewals
- Monitoring customer & order status across different software streams
- Reporting
- Provide cover for Project Management Office (PMO)
- Invoicing
- General Administration (hotels, flights etc.)
- Office Management
- PA duties as and when required

Skills, traits and experience required

- Ideally has experience of working in a Software sales environment
- Experience of resource planning and workflow management strongly desired
- IT Literate with solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience of sales invoicing highly desirable
- Ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines, and to communicate competing demands effectively
- Organised with good time management skills
- Confident and resilient to deal with challenges from people within the business
- Good interpersonal skills and able to consult with a wide range of people at different levels
- Proactive communicator and willing to share information
- Exercises good judgement, knows when to flag issues and when to deal with independently
- Flexible in nature and able to apply oneself to multiple tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work on own and as part of a team
- Willingness to improve processes as well as follow them
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines, to work systematically and prioritise tasks
- Ability to work on own and as part of a team, and to work under pressure
- Interest in Agile methodology

Please note as the majority of our PMO are based in St Albans there will be a requirement for the successful candidate to travel to St Albans for team meetings (we would envisage 1 -2 times a month).
