A reputable Investment Bank is looking for an Equity Derivatives Application Support AVP to join their growing Application Support team based in Canary Wharf. This Equity Derivatives Application Support AVP will contribute towards supporting the run-the-bank front office trading applications which are built using both the Windows and UNIX technology stack. The Investment Bank has recently seen great investment into both their Technology and front office trade divisions meaning all applications have or will be re-engineered within the Equities front office trading environments.

As an Equity Derivatives Application Support AVP you will be responsible for supporting a number of business critical applications used for the banks front office Equity Derivatives trading activities. This Equity Derivatives Application Support team are based directly on the trading floor and all applications are built using cutting-edge technology as well as using some familiar technologies including Windows and Unix.

On a day to day basis you will be responsible for the following:

* Responsible for interacting with developers, traders and Business Analysts in relation to any support related issues associated with the equity derivative trade applications.

* Responsible for identifying, troubleshooting and solving technical issues related to the Equity Derivatives trading applications acting as a main point of contact for the front office business.

Essential key skills required:

* Trader-facing support experience.

* Business knowledge of Equity Derivatives

* Experience supporting Windows and UNIX technology.

You will be joining a team of six Applications support analysts, all whom have extensive Investment Banking experience and will be available to help support you on a daily basis. This team are extremely well regarded internally and as an Application Support Analyst you will get a high degree of autonomy and visibility within the business which will enable you to propel your career internally.
