A Digital Agency in Chester have created a position for a Junior Web Developer - and it's a great time to get onboard! Especially if you love using technology like C#, Umbraco, SQL Server, Azure Cloud, JIRA, Bamboo, ASP.NET MVC, Javascript, HTML, CSS - or want to learn any of those areas!
Based in a purpose built office in Chester, with an onsite café and picturesque garden, this truly is a "family feel" environment that would be welcoming to any Junior Web Developer. With 50 people onsite, they are big enough to give you a variety of challenging projects to keep your brain ticking over, but are small enough to care about each and every person on sight to keep you feeling valued! You'll be working for a Head of Development who has some great ideas - he's improved efficiency through 80:20 thinking, raised the profile of the agency via MeetUps and other avenues, as well as increasing the size of client retainers by defining new services around DevOps. He is creating a personal development journey for every developer, encouraging them to be part of the MeetUp scene and to run their own personal projects. He will focus you on the delivery of value rather than just hours. He's also introduced agile processes to promote greater collaboration, standardised on JIRA, introduced build automation with BambooCI Server and more. This is a manager who will get the most out of you and improve you as a Junior Web Developer.
As a Junior Web Developer, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects, liaising with other developers/project managers/stakeholders to ensure the work is being done to a good standard. You'll have a team around you to support you at every given point!

The salary for the Junior Web Developer role DOE is between £20,000 to £25,000 + benefits like 23 days holiday, your birthday off, private health cover, and flexible start and finish times. You can start as early as 07:00 and finish as late as 18:30 - long as you get your 7.5 hours done it's not an issue!
