Role: Business Analyst

Location: Dublin 2, Dublin City Centre

Duration : 10 months ( you will be paid via payroll like a permanent employee)

Salary EUR58,000 with VHI cover on day one

The business analyst's role is to fully comprehend the high level but also the detailed process views of existing business software applications, analysing existing processes including data, workflow and application viewpoints, documenting the as-is situation with a strong focus on the target solution.

You will elicit and interpret stakeholder requirements and establish a clear definition of scope. You must be able to effectively translate these requirements into a comprehensive business focused functional specification document to clearly articulate the proposed design and assist in the solutions design by collaborating with developers to deliver via UAT to production systems. Their QA standards are paramount and the Business Analyst will be required to perform system testing along with maintaining Use Cases, Test Cases and scripts whilst working with empowered Subject Matter Experts within the business. The BA will also ensure agreed procedures are understood and followed including training during the project phases. The ideal candidate will have both technical and functional expertise - has experience of project lifecycles, understands business requirements.

Business Analyst Experience

5+ years as a Systems or Business Analyst

Progressive experience working with complex environments and custom user interfaces.

System testing experience

Excellent written and communication skills

Effectively use current technologies to gather insight into future applications

Business requirements management experience

Project and process management experience

Key objectives of this Business Analyst job include:

Elicit, determine and document system requirements

Liaise with business Subject Matter Experts and internal stakeholders

Maintain Use case and Test Case documentation sets

Collaborate with Developers

Provide solutions and insight for new and changed workflow, data and business process needs
