Network Engineer - Networks - Voice & Data

Cisco LAN/WAN Infrastructures, Cisco and/or Juniper Network Support, Firewalls & Network Security, Telephony - Cisco IP, Cisco Call Manager, VoIP, BlueCoat Proxy Server, Clearswift Webmail Gateways and/or Noble Dialler.

£40,000 to £45,000 + Excellent Benefits Package + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

This established and dynamic financial services organisation are seeking a professional, challenge orientated and focused Network Engineer to enhance their UK Network Services function.

This role will require tenacity, patience, teamwork and the flexibility to go the extra mile and offer a 1st class customer experience.

This role is pivotal but challenging, diverse and rewarding and will offer you an opportunity to grow technically as the breadth of in-house technology is substantial.

Supporting over 1,300 users across a Cisco infrastructure your key responsibilities will include:

* Support daily operations of a core voice and/or data network infrastructure

* Objective towards Voice & Data network availability and performance targets

* Work with third party providers for fault resolution or project activity as required

* Support remediation of faults where skill availability of junior analysts is insufficient

* Actively drive security improvements and address vulnerabilities

* Proactively drive activities to increase resilience or improve performance of the network

Key technical experience required will involve:

* Cisco LAN/WAN Infrastructures

* Cisco and/or Juniper Network Support

* Firewalls & Network Security

* Telephony - Cisco IP, Cisco Call Manager

* VoiP

* BlueCoat Proxy Server

* Clearswift Webmail Gateways and/or Noble Dialler

Desirable but not Essential Certifications:

* CCNA Security and/or R&S

* CCNP Security and/or R&S
