Java Developer - Leeds - 6 month contract - £375 to £425 per day
An e-commerce company in Leeds, Yorkshire are seeking a Java Developer to join their team on an initial 6 month contract. If you have commercial experience developing websites or systems using Java 7/8, then you may be the Java Developer we're looking for.
What will you be doing?
As a Java Developer, you'll be responsible for working on complex internal systems on a modern technology stack. You'll work within a collaborative environment, adopting an agile approach to delivery using scrum/Kanban as well as TDD, BDD and clean code.
What skills/experience should you have?
* Experience building back end systems using Micro-services
* Experience using Java 7 or Java 8 (They use Java 8)
* Experience working with Spring and Hibernate
* Experience working in TDD environments
* Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle
