Business Analyst

A superb opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst to join a tier one investment bank Based within the city centre of Glasgow. This Business analyst will join the banks Risk, finance and treasury (RFT) data team that is accountable for the delivery of data governance, Data management and other data operations across the bank.

Role Purpose:

As one of the banks Business Analyst you will be responsible for translating gathered requirements into a language that application and developing teams can clearly understand. Further presenting the developers technical requirements into to any easy and understandable way to senior stakeholders. This will require a business analyst who has a strong understanding of applications and data management.

The position being key in delivering the banks group data strategy within the Risk, Finance and Treasury data management office, Focusing on the derivation of a comprehensive and integrated tooling strategy.

What you will need:

* Experience working within a financial institution

* Experience working extensively with data

* Experience working within applications

* Experience gathering and translating requirements

* Risk, finance or Treasury experience (desirable)
