Our client, a South African company who specialise in software and system development, with a presence across continental Africa, are currently looking for a Java Web Developer with Fullstack Java exposure to join their internal development team. The company, who are based in the beautiful Somerset West in the Cape Winelands, are looking to bring on a Java Web Developer to add to their growing Java development team as they continue to expand their presence across continental Africa. The company, who work in Java, are looking for a Fullstack developer who has worked in a Java environment. The ideal candidate will have exposure to both Java backend and frontend technologies, including Spring, JSP, JSF, Servlets and Primefaces. As well as experience with Java frontend tools, experience with JavaScript and it's libraries is necessary, with a focus on Angular experience across versions 2 & 4 as well as experience with jQuery. The ideal candidate will have good exposure to RESTful and SOAP Web Services. Skills:

Strong experience working with Java

Experience with Spring framework

Experience with JSP/JSF/Servlets/Primefaces

Experience with JavaScript and Angular

Experience with Web Services (REST/SOAP/AWS)

Desirable:

A university degree in Computer Science or a related subject

Previous work within an agile team in a similar position

AWS Certification would be a bonus

Knowledge of Oracle stack

Job Type: Permanent / Full-time

Salary: R350000-R45000PM
