Delivery Manager
Start: ASAP
Duration: 3 months + extensions
Location: London
The project designs and delivers advanced Analytics within the Cyber Security space (including Intelligence, Response and Attack Monitoring).
The main objective of the role is to run the delivery of the project, achieving maximum efficiency for the workstream working on, high quality deliverables, strong governance and satisfying the PMO requirements specified in the Global Information Security (GIS) frameworks.
Responsibilities:
* Delivery of new functionality through a structured release methodology (Agile)
* Hands-on approach and attention to details in order to monitor progress, identify and proactively remove blockers end to end, ensuring smooth releases from the design to the delivery phase
* Organize sprints, optimize resource allocations, plan the work of Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers and the QA team at Program level, maintaining the Programme/Project plan, formalizing decisions.
* Identify and manage dependencies and interfaces between front/back-end/infrastructure teams, lead/minute meetings and ensure actions are progressed
* Report out the current status of the delivery in an accurate, informative and timely way to senior leaders.
* Monitor risks and issues, escalating to Senior Management where appropriate
* Ensure the project is compliant with relevant governance methodologies
* Where required, manage suppliers in line with agreed contractual obligations, milestones and quality standards
* Be collaborative with the entire team (front-end/back-end developers, architects, infrastructure group), create a high performing culture and strong collaboration
Required Skills:
* Project Management AND Delivery/Agile Release experience, SDLC
* Delivery of infrastructure in complex environments
* Cyber Security exposure
* Development skills (one or more programming languages)
* Self-starter
* Interpersonal skills / attitude to team collaboration in a fast paced environment.
