Linux Team Lead / Senior DevOps (AWS Kafka). Market leading financial site that has facilitated over £1.8 billion in loans is seeking a skilled Linux Team Lead to guide a talented DevOps Team to develop and support complex Linux infrastructure. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to set the strategy for future development, driving a key Greenfield project to create a real-time event driven architecture.

As a Linux Team Lead you will work self-hosted datacentres and the cloud to ensure that this growing business has the resources needed for its continued success. Removing inefficiencies, you will increase automation wherever possible and proactively address any potential issues.

Requirements:

*Strong Linux skills - Ubuntu CoreOS

*Team lead experience

*Good understanding of AWS Cloud

*Coding skills - Ruby, Go, Python, .Net

*Familiar with configuration management (Packer, Puppet, Chef, etc.)

*Previous experience of building and maintaining Kafka clusters

*Experience of CI/Jenkins
