Cyber Security Consultant

Sheffield based, travel to Leeds as required.

3 month contract, potential extensions

Our client is looking for a Cyber Security Consultant to join their security team for 3months.

Skills and knowledge:

* Penetration test ability. This isn't a pure pen test role but the ideal candidate should have experience in pen testing, even at an ethical level.

* Excellent understanding of PCI/DSS

* A Linux background

* Application security background specifically java and PHP. You will need to identify issues within the code.

* You will provide leadership and be a mentor to junior members of the team including apprenticeships.

* A background in managing people, be able to identify a cyber security strategy.

* You will need to have excellent communication skills and speak English fluently. As part of the role you will be required to speak to board level members about cyber security i.e any issues, breaches, project statuses. You will also need to provide assurance to senior stakeholders on their cyber security.
