Are you an experienced IT developer with detailed SharePoint knowledge and experience of using tools and languages such as Visual Studio.NET, Java, SQL Server, ASP.NET, VB.NET and C#?
Based in Westminster, you will be responsible for developing technical solutions that meet the businesses’ requirements and implementing these using rapid application development techniques.
You will also benefit from an additional ICT allowance if you have formal training in SharePoint and/or a Microsoft Certified Solution Expert qualification.
An integral member of the team, you will provide subject matter expertise to the business, development team and colleagues. An effective communicator, you will ensure that colleagues can understand and articulate the opportunities and constraints of our development toolsets, allowing them to provide quick and accurate advice to customers.
1. Formal training in development and administration SharePoint and use of associated toolsets is essential.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Must have experience of development projects and have Microsoft development experience using tools and languages such as Visual Studio.NET, SQL Server, ASP.NET, VB.NET and C#.
- Knowledge of developing within SharePoint using SharePoint designer and an ability to find and apply technology solutions to business problems.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SharePoint sites/web parts. Familiarity with SharePoint add-ins and 3rd party products to deliver enhanced functionality is essential

IWS is responsible for the Treasury’s estate, information and communications technology and knowledge and information management. Working in partnership with our stakeholders IWS leads and manages technology-enabled corporate change. The team takes forward several significant programmes and projects to improve services and systems to enable customers to continue to operate effectively within a challenging budget allocation.
