Java Developer / Java Software Engineer (Agile Web Multi-threading UNIX). Successful financial software house is seeking a skilled Java Developer to design and develop multi-threaded, low latency trading applications.

As a Java Developer you will join a talented, Agile team, building complex systems to distribute the data over the Internet to traders around the world. Based in the City, this is a relaxed, friendly software house environment that offers regular company hack days, where you will be actively encouraged to recommend new technologies and approaches.

Requirements:

*Strong Core Java skills

*Experience of multi-threaded, low latency performance-critical applications

*Previous experience of build tools such as Gradle and Maven

*Good understanding of UNIX/Linux

*Degree educated in Computer Science or closely related subject

*Agile working experience
