Cyber Security Analyst / Engineer - London - 60k - 70k

We are recruiting for a Cyber Security Analyst / Consultant and a Cyber Security Engineer for a global business. Currently they are going through a complete overhaul of their Security function. They now require a Cyber Security Analyst (business facing) and a Cyber Security Engineer (Technical) to join their team and ensure that the business is informed and aware of key Cyber Security principles and their global network infrastructure is secured against threats. Both are increasingly more important roles in the modern world!

The Cyber Security Analyst / Consultant role will suit an individual with in-depth experience of consulting business' on up to date Cyber Security principles and controls. The Cyber Security Engineer will suit a more technical individual with excellent experience of TCP/IP, routing and switching architecture, integration of network technologies into existing network infrastructures and network traffic/packet analysis.

Responsibilities & Skills of the Cyber Security Analyst:

* Act as Business interface to advise, counsel and inform various departments and customers relating to all things Cyber Security based

* 3 - 5 years of Cyber Security and/or consulting experience within a large enterprise environment

* Clear understanding of Cyber Security principles including SIEM, vulnerability management, Identity and Access Management

* Experience in SOC environment preferred

* Effective time management and project management skills and experience managing multiple projects independently. International experience preferred.

* Must have excellent written and communication skills to deliver briefings and reporting to all levels of global stakeholders.

Responsibilities & Skills of the Cyber Security Engineer:

* Provide technical expertise to the architecture team and management to influence decisions relating to the Network and Security services with a particular focus on Firewalls

* 3 - 5 years of Technical Security Engineering experience

* Excellent knowledge / exposure to TCP/IP, Routing and Switching

* Provide design expertise

* Document all network changes effectively

* Manage support processes and responses to potential threats

The Cyber Security Analyst / Engineer role is based in London.

The Cyber Security Analyst role will involve some travel to various sites across the UK and Europe.

The Cyber Security Analyst / Engineer role will pay a salary of £60,000 - £70,000 + Benefits. Salary is dependent on experience and background.
