Our client is a multi-award winning family owned business, who specialise in providing promotional gifts and merchandise. With over 30 years' experience in the promotional merchandise industry, they know that they can deliver what they promise and endeavour to serve the needs of their customers with the highest level of excellent service.

They are embarking on a strategy to grow and develop their company and are looking for a dynamic, creative and enthusiastic team player to join our graphic design department. Our ethos is to always leave a lasting impression and we achieve that by always going the extra mile for our customers and aim to exceed at whatever we do.

Graphic Designer responsibilities:

Working closely with the Sales, Production, Marketing and Management teams; you'll ensure that all our customers and internal projects are met with enthusiasm and produced in a timely and accurate manner. The work will be a mixture of producing time critical print ready artwork for customer orders, providing our in-house production with designs and artwork, along with supporting our own marketing needs with original and fresh ideas.

The ideal Graphic Designer:

This busy hands-on role would be ideally suited to someone with proven experience, who's able to adapt and apply their creative brilliance to our broad range of design requirements. They will be familiar with using a Windows PC and Microsoft Office, while highly skilled with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; able to confidently edit both vector and bitmap images for print work. The ability to produce graphics for screen/web would also be desirable, though not essential.

You must be a highly self-motivated person with a 'positive can do' attitude, able to juggle multiple tasks, managing your workload and priorities effectively to achieve all deadlines. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential along with a mature approach, strong work ethic and excellent customer care. You will need to thrive working under pressure, able to produce creative designs with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, as well as using plenty of common sense. There will be lots of opportunity to work independently and inspire us with your creative ideas.

Previous experience of working within the promotional products industry would be desirable, although not essential.
