A growing managed service provider based in Southampton are looking for a 2nd Line Helpdesk Analyst to join their growing team.

This is a great opportunity to join an expanding company and gain exposure to a range of different technologies across a varied client base.

The helpdesk is a dynamic team providing support to a wide range of businesses from 5 - 750 users.

The company offer training, certifications and there is room for progression within the company.

As 2nd Line Helpdesk Analyst you will be responsible for the following tasks:

* Troubleshooting desktop, server and network problems

* Diagnose and solve hardware/software Incidents/problems

* Incident and problem management

* Provide exceptional service to customers and company staff

* Provide solution(s)/work around(s) to incidents and Problems

* Install, maintain and support new applications

* Work to SLA thresholds for incident(s), request(s) and problem(s)

* Prioritising and managing several open cases and mini projects at one time

* Liaise with 3rd parties to resolve issues with other software

* Review of services, application delivery, patching and Anti-Virus

* Work with a variety of business and technical teams to enhance service

* Systems monitoring

* Supporting users on both hardware and Software applications

* Administer backups and restores

* Performance monitoring

The successful 2nd Line Helpdesk Analyst will have a very high level of customer service experience and past experience working in a helpdesk environment.

As 2nd Line Helpdesk Analyst you will be working with the following technologies:

* Active Directory administration

* Windows Server 2008 - 2016 administration

* Exchange Server administration

* Windows 7-10 end user and software support

* Exposure to VMware ESXi administration would be advantageous

The role of 2nd Line Helpdesk Analyst is paying up to £28,000 depending on experience plus pension, training, free parking and staff social events.
