SC Cleared Project Manager (Voice IP) - Swindon - Initial 3 month contract
SC Cleared Project Manager (Voice IP) required to join a major telecommunications client based in Swindon. This role will see you working on a project for one of their public sector end clients.
Key accountabilities
* Main customer / supplier contact -for day-to-day activities.
* Winning new business experience responding to new change request
* Effective internal and external stakeholder management
* Delivery of project to time, cost & quality and timely reporting to both internal and external stakeholders - ensuring growth revenue and payment milestones are held as per the individual contracts P&L.
* Ability to steer technical teams to overcome issues with new technology and challenge technical solutions to ensure they match the project aims and customer requirements.
* Management of risks and issues to eliminate or remove barriers - if necessary effective use of escalation at senior level.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
* Strong stakeholder management at senior level internal and externally face to face meetings required.
* Ability to manage highly complex bespoke Voice IP project.
* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
* Ability to manage a large virtual and direct team to resolve issues quickly and effectively including suppliers.
* Highly structured and able to create and apply controls
* Ability to support commercial impacting of changes to enable the most beneficial outcome for the organisation and the customer.
* Ability to manage a programme of work with multi-site deliverables - driving risks and issues to maintain delivery of the E2E project.
Suitable candidates should idealy hold active SC clearance or must be eligible and willing to undergo SC clearance checks.
