SAP B1 Business Analyst (Contract)

An exciting opportunity has presented itself in London! My client is looking for a highly motivated, self-starter and quick learner to start with opportunities for extension after the contract expires.

A successful candidate will have:

* Excellent quantitative skills

* Demonstrate proficiency in financial analysis

* Good project management skills

* Ability to work across functional lines to deliver on the business goals

* Strong team player

* English: excellent written and oral communications

* Knowledge of another major European language is an advantage

* Fully proficient in MS Excel

* Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP Business One, SAP R/3

* Familiarity with Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (ie. Smart View) is an asset

Desirable Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree ideally in Finance, Business or Engineering

* Previous experience within an international company in a similar position

Some key responsibilities will include:

* Planning activities: support the planning activities by forecasting and budgeting sales, margin, capex, allocations and operating expense

* Performance tracking: provide variance analysis on actual results versus plan

* Business reporting: ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly reporting for the business

Contract: 6 Months

Location: London
