Job Title: Experienced Software Developer

Location: Manchester City Centre

Salary: £25k - £35k dependant on experience

Job type: Full Time, Permanent

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for requirements analysis, design, development, testing, debugging, troubleshooting and modification of in house software platforms and applications. This position generally receives detailed instructions on new assignments and regular instruction on day-to-day work.

Key Responsibilities:

* Analyse (and sometimes create) software requirements, modification requests, and problem reports

* Research and design software solutions to address new requirements and modification for existing systems

* Develop, test, and integrate software components

* Troubleshoot problems reported by other developers, test organisations, or customers

* Work closely in a team; also regularly cooperate with other professionals such as company directors

* Continually update technical knowledge and skills

Candidate's Requirements:

* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

* Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritise, and meet timelines on deliverables

* Self-starter, sense of urgency, and works well under pressure

* Sense of professionalism and ability to develop relationships

* Proficient in Microsoft Office

Skills Required:

* Strong knowledge of NETMVC, Web API, jQuery, HTML and Bootstrap CSS

* Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of their ecosystem

* Strong understanding of object-oriented programming

* Skill for writing reusable libraries

* Familiar with various design and architectural patterns

* Knowledge of SOLID design principle

* Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Platform

* Experience with popular web application frameworks

* Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code

* Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application

* Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

* Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests

* Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
