SAP B1 Business Analyst

The Role/ Key Responsibilities:

* Planning activities: support the planning activities by forecasting and budgeting sales, margin, capex, allocations and operating expense

* Performance tracking: provide variance analysis on actual results versus plan

* Business reporting: ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly reporting for the business

* Provide business data analysis for specific business and finance projects. Create the financial aspect of business cases for projects (e.g. investment scenarios, manufacturing scenarios, pricing analysis, and cost to serve models)

Skills:

* Excellent quantitative skills

* Demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis

* Good project management skills

* Ability to work across functional lines to deliver on the business goals

* Strong team player

* Highly motivated, self-starter and quick learner

* English: excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of another major European language is an advantage

* Fully proficient in MS Excel

* Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP Business One, SAP R/3

* Familiarity with Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (ie. Smart View) is an asset

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree ideally in Finance, Business or Engineering

* Previous experience within an international company in a similar position
