Progressive are currently seeking a Front-End Developer for our client in the health industry. We are looking for a front-end developer with strong JavaScript Framework skills in AngularJS 2 or React, HTML5 and CSS3.

Duties for this role include:

* The delivery of changes to public web sites and mobile applications providing positive business outcomes.

* Proposing solutions to requirements based on feedback input and feedback from stakeholders, analytics platforms and consumers.

* Ensuring quality through unit testing and other quality gates.

* Leveraging modern JavaScript, CSS3, ES6 standards as well as responsive web design, cross browser support, progressive enhancement and other best practice design patterns.

* Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders including Product Owners, Delivery Manager, Architects and UX to plan for each feature delivery.

* Adhering to Agile and Software Delivery principles such as daily stand-ups, retrospectives, code reviews, continuous integration and continuous delivery.

Requirements:

* 4+ years of experience as a front-end developer

* Experience delivering high-quality, responsive web solutions across multiple platforms (mobile, tablet, web)

* Excellent front-end development skills in JavaScript framework skills such as AngularJS 2 or React, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX

* Experience in server side JavaScript with Node.js

* Hands on experience in writing unit tests

* Strong understanding of Coding best practices- OOP, Design Patterns, Data Structures

* Solid understanding of single page application (SPA) design patterns

* Experience consuming RESTful web services

* Translation of designer mock-ups and wireframes into code

* Solid understanding as well as working experience of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
