Spring Technology are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our leading public sector clients.

Based in Milton Keynes on an initial 6 month contract the client is looking for an experienced 3rd line Support Specialist

Responsibilities

*Provide 3rd line technical diagnosis and resolution of Incidents and Service Requests.

*Accurately assess any proposed Request for Change (RfC) against business impact, cost, benefit and risk associated to maintaining the operational integrity of the platforms currently under support.

*Responsible for recording and submitting iTime accurately within PRISM, on a weekly basis, in line with the corporate policy.

*Contribute to the production of Management Information / internal KPI reports (when required), and Knowledge Based Articles.

*Build strong working relationships with customers and internal support staff, managing expectations and escalations accordingly, working with honesty and integrity at all times.

Technical Skills

Experience of below in an enterprise environment.

*MS Windows 2003/2008/2012 Server,

*MS SharePoint 20XX: 07/10/13/16

*MS SQL 2008R2/2012

*MS Dynamics CRM 2011/2014

*MS Office 365

*IIS

*.Net web applications

*Active Directory GP OU and configuration and permissions of user and workstation, Servers.

*Experience of Virtual Environments

*Experience in working alongside many aspects of the ITIL3 environment, such as release to production, problem and change management.

*The ability to take a complex problem and drive through to the end goal.

*Strong analytical ability where trouble shooting scripted on-boarding processes.

*Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to deliver.

*The ability to create and support Operational Process documentation.

*The ability to create and manage Operational Acceptance Criteria.

*Good problem solving and analytical skills.

*Good interpersonal and communication skills and an excellent team player.

*Well organised and able to work under pressure to achieve to tight deadlines.

Successful candidates must hold a current SC Clearance Or be willing to go through the vetting check if successful.
