IT Implementation Analyst

Award winning and market leading client based in Birmingham City Centre is looking for a passionate IT Implementation Analyst to join their growing ICT team.

This is a supporting role within the ICT team reporting to the Software Implementation Manager, which provides support to workstream leads throughout the lifecycle of their workstream of technical development. This will be from the initial discussions regarding the concept and defining of deliverables right through to the full implementation and adoption training.

Responsibilities:

*Providing implementation guidance to all business areas which are part of a software release

*Engaging with all business areas to ensure they fully understand the areas of UAT in terms of their responsibility/achievable deliverables/outcomes.

*Proactively liaise with the business to ensure that they create the relevant UAT cases required to cover the entire business process for the solution being implemented. Ensuring that the documents are of sufficient quality.

*Ensuring that the implementation of newly developed systems or existing system enhancements are adopted fully.

*Provide expert system knowledge when training material is being created and assisting the business owner when approving training material.

*To provide constructive and detailed feedback to the Business Analyst's should any part of the UAT not work as expected by the business.

*Detailed planning of the process relating to complete User Acceptance testing and live environments.

*Lead in engagement with internal/external developers and solution providers to ensure that all aspects of the required release process are understood and documented.

*Management of the rollout process into the UAT environment, ensuring the documented process is followed and any issues are investigated and resolved.

*Responsibility for providing handover support to the ICT Support Desk, when the product is transferred from UAT to the live environment.

*Become the 3rd line support for any product which has been implemented

*Assist in the preparing and maintaining technical support documents for developed systems to ensure a central resource catalogue for ICT.

Skills, knowledge and experience:

*Knowledge of software lifecycles and an appreciation of project delivery methodologies.

*Proven experience in implementing software.

*Experience of testing

*Proven experience as an implementer across multiple projects simultaneously.

*Comfortable in face to face meetings and workshops with internal business contacts

*Ability to contribute to business process design surrounding software projects.

*Ability to write technical training materials for ICT support desk.

*Ability to write training material for the business used during implementation.

*Any experience of IIS, CRM and an understanding of development lifecycles would also be beneficial.
