Spring Technology is working with one of the worlds global retail brands, recruiting for a Digital Transformation Director as part of a large scale business transformation.

The role of the Transformation Director is to ensure the delivery of the key programme outcomes and successful implementation of Digital Business models and target operating model.

Key Accountabilities

*Leading a £100m transformation programme working on digitalizing traditional revenue streams & business models

*Coaching & developing the organisation throughout the change piece, enabling traditional stakeholders to work effectively in the digital model.

*Ability to manage multiple vendors & suppliers to enable best practice and ensure the transformation runs smoothly.

*Delivering Transformation whilst not disrupting BAU services & effectively transitioning Digital into BAU over the next 18 months.

*Implementation of Agile principle across the group

*Creation of new Target Operating Models

*Recruiting a small but trusted transformation team either externally or from internal headcounts

*Operating at an executive level and experience of embedding new ways of working into operations with board level engagement

*Extensive experience of negotiating and managing third party suppliers and other internal "suppliers", including contract negotiation/management

*Mitigating risks and resolving issues to ensure there is no adverse impact to the successful delivery of the programme/programmes

Skills and Experience

Delivery

*Proven successful large scale digital transformation programme delivery, with full accountability for the end-to-end transformation in the retail sector.

*Ability to manage a major transformation programme in the context of maintaining a BAU operations in parallel

*Ability to see through the detail and to identify the critical issues to address

Leadership

*Hands on person who leads from the front.

*Experience of presenting & advising to a group board

*Forward thinker, who can say no.

Stakeholder Management

*Strong stakeholder management, up and down organisations

*Ability to assess and pick-up underlying points of view and sentiment at operational and senior level

*Ability to understand and manage multiple competing agendas
