I am currently looking for a QAD-EDI Business analyst for a client of mine based in North Derbyshire. the contract will last an initial 3 months and is offering £350 per day. Job Specification: Job Description The QAD EDI Business Analyst is responsible for the set-up of new, and maintenance of existing, QAD EDI E-commerce partnerships with the QAD application team. Working with external customers / suppliers, our internal EDI Gateway team and end-users, the role will follow the full lifecycle translating a raw EDI file to a usable file for QAD and the eCommerce module setup. The current environment is QAD2015EE. Responsibilities:
* Implement new EDI partnerships into QAD2015EE
* Work with our internal EDI team to receive and send EDI messages for testing
* Convert in-house raw data files into SNF format
* Configuration of the EDI eCommerce module to process inbound / outbound messages
* Participate and support end-user testing and customer / supplier approvals
Requirements:
* Extensive experience in the QAD EDI eCommerce module
* Experience with Progress 4GL programming
* Experienced in QAD Enterprise Edition
* Experience of inbound and outbound messages (EDIFACT, ANSI, VDA, ODETTE)
* Ability to communicate effectively with technical staff and end-users
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Highly self-motivated and directed
* Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative global environment
* Good organizational skills, with ability to prioritize workload
* Good presentation and communication skills essential
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor or Master of Science, preferably Computer Science
* 2+ years' QAD experience, preferably in the Automotive sector
* QAD EDI eCommerce module experience is essential
