Java Developer / Java Software Engineer (Multi-threading Agile TDD Spring Linux). World leading financial trading organisation based in the City is seeking a skilled Java Developer to design and develop a highly complex order management system. You will work throughout the full development lifecycle from analysis through to implementation, test and release to build technically challenging, business critical applications.

As a Java Developer, you will keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, utilising grid computing, distributed caching, messaging and low latency technologies to drive forward innovation. Above all, they are seeking people with a real passion for technology, keen to push boundaries and deliver clear, concise, well written code.

Requirements:

*Strong core Java development experience

*Previous experience of distributed, concurrent, multi-threaded programming for high volume, low latency applications

*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

*Degree educated (2.1 or above)

*Desirable: Linux, Spring, Maven, Kafka messaging, BASH and/or Perl scripting
