Linux Specialist

An exciting opportunity has become available for a IT Support Engineer with experience of supporting/working with Linux to join a well established company in their IT Department.

The role will give the right candidate the opportunity to grow within their specialism in a regulated environment working with other like-minded individuals.

The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate the following:

*A strong willingness to learn new skills and grow within the Financial industry

*A quick learner with a keen attention to detail

*Keen to deliver the best possible service to customers through work

*Strong communication skills is a must, both verbal and written

*Comfortable working directly with customers and handling keen deadlines

*Ability and desire to travel and spend time onsite with customers

Platform Skills

*Working knowledge of Linux is essential; you will be working with Linux as part of your role

Desirable

If you have knowledge of other UNIX platforms such as AIX that would be fantastic, we would love to hear from you!

For the right candidate, the salary of offer is starting from £25,000 + company benefits. This would be a great opportunity for a recent graduate or a Linux Specialist just starting in their career. We look forward to hearing from you!
