EAST MIDLANDS

Salary: £35,000 - £60,000 + benefits (Performance Bonus, Healthcare etc.)

An IT Business Analyst (Energy Industry) is required to join a very exciting, fast-paced and rapidly growing Utilities company in the East Midlands on a permanent basis. The successful IT Business Analyst (Energy Industry) MUST have experience working in the UK Energy industry and ideally will be comfortable working on IT projects including working with systems, data and have a thorough understanding of how the Energy industry works.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

* IT Business Analyst MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN THE UK ENERGY INDUSTRY (Knowledge of industry dataflows is realistically essential)

* Must have experience working on Technical/IT focused projects such as a Software implementation project, a Data Migration Project or similar - Also experience working with APIs or at least a knowledge of APIs are essential

* Strong ability to facilitate workshops with internal and external stakeholders to capture high level requirements to bring back to the Development team

* Confident with strong communication skills and a passion for the Energy industry

* The ability to work under pressure, ideally having worked on multiple projects at once

DESIRABLE SKILLS

* Experience working on an ERP/CRM/Billing implementation project would be very desirable

* Knowledge of data mapping, industry dataflows, metering would be massively advantageous

* Agile Business Analysts with experience of other Project Management methodologies would be a benefit

Day to day role:

An extremely varied role, the successful IT Business Analyst (Energy Industry) will be assigned to a variety of projects working with internal and external stakeholders and partners to deliver and build bespoke products for the Utilities industry. This person will need to be personable and presentable to run the workshops and simultaneously technical in that they will be working closely with the Development team on technical tasks - Again, Energy Industry knowledge is a MUST for the role and unfortunately candidates without this will not be considered at this stage.
