The Role

My award-winning Client builds large scale, bespoke, business critical systems for some of the world's most demanding organisations. They have a broad range of world class software consultants that design the full development lifecycle and build complex, modern software and applications for a variety of blue-chip clients.

Duties and Responsibilities Overview

* Full technical authority across all elements of client site technology and development.

* To provide Consultative expertise to clients.

* Act in a hand's on capacity when developing on site.

* Reviewing wider business / architecture solutions in conjunction with appropriate technology standards / principles and the overall technical vision to complete project deadlines.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

* Responsible for the architecture, system design specification, walk through of the specification and high level design and test scenarios with project stakeholders and implementation teams.

Essential Skills and Experience

* Demonstrable experience of UX design in an in-house or consultancy role

* Evidence of design leadership regarding people, culture and projects

* Proven understanding of collaborative, user-centred design methods

* Experience of designing enterprise applications for desktop, mobile or web

* An appetite for creating simple solutions to complex problems

* Working knowledge of Agile methodologies

* Intimate familiarity with design techniques such as design studio workshops, journey mapping and empathy mapping

* The skills and tooling knowledge to bring application designs to life, from sketches to wireframes and storyboards to high fidelity mock-ups and click-through prototypes

* The ability to adapt and learn on the job

Salary and How to Apply
