Information Security Engineer

A new opportunity has arisen for an Information / Cyber Security Engineer to join this highly-successful, international company in North London. We are seeking a talented individual to implement security tools and controls, investigate complex systems and networks to identify cyber-attacks, and manage a variety of internal security operations and projects.

Utilising your proven commercial experience within IT Security, your role as Information /

Cyber Security Engineer will be crucial to evaluating the company's security architecture and driving forward solutions by implementing a range of appropriate tools.

Your role will be visible across the entire business, and you will run campaigns aimed to educate the wider business and raise awareness on IT security best-practice.

Skills and experience required for the Information / Cyber Security Engineer:

* Demonstrable commercial experience in an IT Security position, with a focus on network infrastructure

* Experience of working with and implementing a variety of security tools and controls is key

* Proven experience of identifying and preventing cyber-security attacks

* ISO 27001 knowledge is essential; preferably combined with ISO 27001 implementation or initiation experience

* Relevant certifications; either CISSP, CISM, SIEM or OWASP etc.

* 2.1 degree in Computer Science (or related) degree

* Outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written) - you will be required to manage 3rd parties and suppliers, as well as work in collaboration with internal teams during any projects
