Java Developer Insurance Kent web based ecommerce project

I am partnered with a global insurance business to source 5 Java Developers as they build a new, high calibre java development team, to take the lead on their new ecommerce web portal. This is an underwriting system which is both internally and externally facing to their customers.

This is a Greenfield java portal which represents a huge investment for the business and it is thus a great opportunity to really make your mark and make an impact

The technical stack is Full Stack: Java, MySQL, Hibernate, jQuery, HTML and CSS.

As the Java developer, you will be working on a web based commercial insurance trading system, and taking ownership for delivering improvements and new functionality. You will also need to be comfortable and confident delivering a consistent high quality service to the business through core enhancements and bug ?xes within a custom framework.

These are permanent Java Developer roles based in Kent near to Maidstone. Salary is £40-80,000 dependent on your level of experience across the 5 headcount

Requirements

* Strong development experience across Java, MySQL, Hibernate, jQuery, HTML and CSS.

* A team focused, collaborative developer

* Any experience working on web portals or ecommerce platforms will be useful

* Any knowledge of the insurance/ underwriting industry will be useful but not essential
