Senior Test Manager

My well known, industry leading and award winning client is looking for a Senior Test Manager to join their growing team at their head office in Leicester. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, competent individual with a high level of technical knowledge.

As the Senior Test Manager, you will be responsible for leading and delivering test activity. This includes an implementation of a wrap platform, testing solutions from the in-house development team at and managing the delivery of test strategies with numerous partners.

Key responsibilities:

*Test strategy design including; user journeys from Business requirement documentation, scripts to support all path deviations, test automation, traceability, bridge and sync from external development to test management, end user's device and browser compatibility and performance, resilience, scalability and security testing.

*Relationship Management and Key Counterparties including; internal PMs, BAs, Developers and the wider Infrastructure team. You will also liaise with third parties.

*Programme Management including; multiple parallel implementations, stream control and reporting, proactive resource deployment, overall phase scope and status against each functional block, daily script execution, weekly step execution, quality monitoring and feedback and productivity monitoring and dynamic forecasting.

*Continuous Improvement including; competence, test automation, documentation packs, 3rd party execution, drive up productivity and partner quality and integrated, comprehensive dashboards with dynamic forecasting.

*Team management including responsibility for; recruitment and resourcing needs, individual and team's development and performance management.

Key skills and experience:

*Test management with evidence team management, test strategy build out, 3rd party relationship management, programme management.

*Experience in working on Wrap implementations.

*Credible presenter with experience of dealing with senior internal and external stakeholders.

*Hands on experience of test automation, HP QC, Jira sync.

*Experience in leading a test team within a structured and fast paced project based environment.

*Experience and proven track record of implementing and driving the business strategy through the UAT cycle.

*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as you will be required to influence senior stakeholders from all aspects of the business, including external partners and clients.

*Willingness to still be hands-on in the test process in creating/executing test cases, raising defects and maintaining defect logs.

*Ability to gather and interpret requirements and design details to formulate effective and efficient tests and strategies.

*Experience of financial services would also be highly desirable.

*Any formal certifications including; ISEB, ISTQB and Prince 2 would also be advantageous.
