Linux Systems Administrator / Linux DevOps Engineer (RedHat Linux Windows Cisco Networking). Opportunity to gain valuable knowledge of financial trading systems at a global leading financial software house that provide a range of algorithmic trading platforms and trade execution services to major financial institutions and investment banking clients worldwide.

As a Linux Systems Administrator / DevOps you will manage the hosted infrastructure as well as supporting a team of developers and support staff, providing build and automation services. Key responsibilities will include using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to provision and manage systems; maintaining the offices and hosting infrastructure using Puppet / Ansible; providing third line support for RedHat Linux servers; diagnosing and resolving production issues; managing multiple vSphere clusters as well as managing storage using SAN technologies (iCSI and NFS).

You'll be working in a collaborative team environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous learning. City based offices with a very flat management structure - casual dress code, flexible working, free food on Fridays and regular social events.

Requirements:

*Strong knowledge of Linux, ideally RedHat or CentOS

*Good scripting skills (Shell, Python, Ruby, Perl, PHP)

*Excellent configuration management skills using Puppet or Ansible

*Experience of VMware and vSphere clusters

*Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs and routing

*Strong knowledge of source control ideally with Git

*Great communication and interpersonal skills
