QA Games Tester

Sheffield (Easy road and rail access from Leeds, Manchester and the Midlands. )

Grey box, Black box, Functional, Jira, Smoke, Latency

£25,000 - £30,000

My client one o the biggest independent gaming developers working on some big games that if you are an gaming enthusiast you would of heard of and most likely played, Are looking for a QA Games Tester to joining their team for a year long fixed term contract.

In this role you will be working on a title from pre production and working on it from the alpha to gold master stage.

During this the successful candidate will be performing;

* Grey/ Black box testing (Functional)

* Daily smoke tests

* Creating, running and maintaining test cases and test scenarios

The skills required are;

Experience working on AAA games releases - minimum 2 games

Experience with latency testing

Bug tracking experience with Jira, Hansoft or Bugzilla

Experience with Connection restrictive testing

Familiar working with FPS games

Experience in network conditioning testing
