Change Manager - Glasgow

Spring Technology is currently recruiting a Change Manager for our client based in Glasgow.

The Company

Our Client is an award winning well backed FinTech start up, driven by the need to act for the greater good. They're at an exciting time in their evolution and are building a brand new team to work on a Greenfield project. This is a key role where you will have the opportunity to work in an innovative environment which provides scope for experimentation.

The role: Change Manager

As a Change Manager, you'll be helping the business scale, develop efficient processes and innovate in an agile environment as the technology function is established. We want to work smart and need someone who can work closely with the Product Manager and CTO to analyse our design, development, infrastructure and testing processes while managing change in these functions and other areas of the business. You'll be working to reduce our risk, improve our quality and help us remain agile as we move out of the heroic effort stage and move towards maturity.

You'll have the autonomy to be able to make the decisions that you need and have regular updates with the senior management team to highlight progress, successes and any areas where the team need to pivot. One of your objectives will be to help embed our culture and values throughout the team. As such you will be ethical, dedicated, inquisitive, courageous and creative.

Responsibilities include:

*Eliciting change requirements from senior management and executives

*Identifying and assessing opportunities for change within the business and preparing business cases for change

*Implementing change throughout the businesses and ensuring adoption of new processes, tools and practices

*Analysing, creating and documenting business processes

*Standardising business processes to ensure best practice and quality

*Identifying, analysing and managing risks

*Tracking and reporting issues

*Supporting and engaging with senior stakeholders

*Communicating change to the software development team and business

*Supporting training of change initiatives

Essential:

*Experience of change, project management, business analysis and service design in the tech sector or an IT department

*Analytical, commercial and practical approach to problem solving

*Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills

*Agent for change with a bias towards action

*Experience working within a customer focused product environment

*Happy to work as part of a team and to work individually

*Excellent spoken and written communication skills

*Willingness to learn and a quick learner

*Honest and transparent approach
