Spring Technology are currently looking for recent Graduates who are passionate to start their careers within the IT industry. We have a Graduate technical consultant position specialising in Linux.

This is a Permanent Graduate level role based in Watford. As a Graduate Technical consultant you will be possess the following skills and attributes:

* A good working knowledge of Linux is essential, knowledge of other UNIX platforms such as AIX is desirable

* Ability to take a machine / LPAR and build a Linux environment on it

* Ability to configure Linux environment so it meets ACI best practices (i.e. it is patched, firewall configured correctly, not running FTP server etc.)

* A strong willingness to learn new skills and grow within the payments industry

* A keen attention to detail and ability to quickly understand concepts and methodologies

* An aptitude for learning quickly, a willingness to work in a team that works hard to deliver the best possible service to customers

* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
