BI Architect (SSAS) - London (Zone 1) - £80,000

We're looking for an BI Software Architect to join a technology solutions company. You will be called upon to demonstrate experience of coding solutions using the Microsoft BI stack, specifically SSAS to do cube creation, development and optimisation - if this sounds like the kind of role you would be interested in then you could be the BI Architect we're looking for!

What will you be doing?

As BI Architect, you will work as part of a distributed application development team, focusing on database and cube components (SSAS). You'll be designing relational and dimensional data models and ETL processes. Further to this, you will code database components of solutions, predominantly using the Microsoft BI Stack specifically (SSAS / MDX). Further to this, you will perform tuning and optimisation of queries and ETL processes and will write unit tests for database components.

What skills should you have?

*Understanding of database design principles

*Experience creating solutions using SSAS / MDX,

*An ability to understand business requirements that translate to technical designs

Although not an essential requirement for the role, experience using Microsoft technologies such as C# or ASP.NET, may assist your application.
