The role

The associate consultant will be joining a team who provide premium support to hundreds of clients. The team has a strong chemistry and work very collaboratively in offering this service, which is critical to the investment banking business. The support is based around a number of core product offerings, which are tools that allow investment professionals to access and analyse information in order to help them do their job.

The associate consultant will answer queries and provide remote product support for the clients via both phone and email. They will build and quality-check Excel models for the clients. The associate consultant must be able to speak the same 'finance' language of the customer. They will be exposed to a broad range of financial subjects and modeling.

This role can naturally lead on to become more client-facing focused, which would involve consultative and complex face-to-face interactions with clients. Through these interactions, the associate consultant would deal with queries, build Excel financial models, and provide face-to-face training and demos on the products, and they would interact heavily with a broad range of clients across different facets of the finance industry.

The associate consultant will have:

* 1 years' + experience in the FS industry, ideally from investment banking, a finance department in a large corporation, or big 4

* Advanced Excel modelling and data skills

* A good understanding of the finance industry - company accounts and valuations

* Ideally CFA part or fully qualified or with some finance-related post graduate qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MBA or MSc

* Experience in M&A, DCM or ECM highly desirable
