Our client is looking for a Web Designer and Front-End Web Developer to join their team to work on front-end development from initial planning and design, through to UX and production of HTML/CSS templates. Working alongside a team of PHP developers, you will take the lead in front-end process. As well as designing outstanding visuals for websites, you will be coding up your designs into mobile-responsive web pages, using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and using frameworks like Foundation and Bootstrap. You will be familiar with SASS, and source control software such as GIT and you know just what to do to get your websites working correctly across a wide range of browsers and platforms. You will be comfortable working with and customising JavaScript frameworks, integrating with MVC PHP web applications and optimising for page speed, accessibility and SEO. The right candidate will have expert knowledge of using latest techniques to code usable cross-browser and cross-platform websites. You have experience of HMTL, CSS, jQuery. You will have an excellent knowledge of using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign and Illustrator to produce visuals with flair. You will have a good knowledge of current web development trends, techniques and best practices, plus an active interest in emerging technologies. Please send a word CV for more details on the role.
