Automation Software Tester

A progressive technical company who offer an interactive web based solution are looking for a Automation Tester to join their current team and influence a transition to automation testing.

The successful Automation Tester will have responsibility for the automation design, planning, scripting and execution of automaion testing across a range of customer facing applications across mobile and web platforms.

The Automation Tester will be passionate about automation technologies and have a strong understanding of the commercial benefits and suitability of automation testing.

The Automation Software Tester will have the following skills and experience:

* Solid experience with Test Automation and Frameworks (Cucumber or Selenium preferable).

* Commercial scripting skills and experience.

* Knowledge of testing APIS's and Webservices.

* Experience of using SQL to query databases and to run test scripts.

* Knowledge of bug tracking and project management tools - (JIRA preferable).

* Awareness of 3rd Party Integration Testing.

* Experience of having worked in an Agile project team.

In addition to the above the key responsibilities of the Automation Tester will include:

* Close working with developers, product owners and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

* Creation, documentation and maintenance of test cases and automated frameworks with respect to existing and new functionality.

* Execution of automated test iterations, tracking and reporting results.

* Troubleshooting and coordination of bug fixes.

* Significantly contribute to moving from manual to a fully automated test function.
