Day rate: £400- 450

We are looking for a confident and open- minded Finance Manager with experience in a finance function and knowledge of ledger systems to join one of our financial services clients' Group wide Ledger Migration programme based in Bristol.

The programme is focused on analysing and reviewing content/ structure of current source system data feeds, implement new Product Sub- Ledger and then migrate these source feeds off of legacy general ledger systems.

If you have data experience, general ledger knowledge and finance transformation experience, then this role might be the ideal for you!

What will you be doing?

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Finance Manager will include but not be limited to:

* Implementation of a new strategic accounting general ledger including data modelling, integration/ migration with multiple source systems and existing ledger

* Mapping data flows/ rules from source system to target system

* Data migration and interface testing

* Working with EUC developers to understand interface requirements

What skills should you have?

* Systems Accountant/ Data expertise required

* Excellent Excel and/ or Access skills

* General Ledger Migration experience highly desirable

* Experience of financial/ management reporting

* Experience of finance control processes

* Change experience control processes

* Knowledge of ledger systems and ledger change programmes with focus on: Master data, Data Migration, Source system integration, End User Computing updates
