Project Brief

To test new and amended software as assigned. You will be part of a wider Test team but will be allocated to specific projects throughout the Client.

Role Profile

* Working with agile development teams to create, document and maintain performance test scripts for new and existing applications as assigned.

* Work with developers and system testers to automate existing tests.

* Maintain and extend existing test frameworks as new functionality is introduced.

* Identify/ evaluate best test tools for application/ project in scope.

* Schedule test execution, log and report defects and retest fixes.

* Skills transfer to in-house staff.

Skills

* Experience of working in agile software delivery teams.

* Experience of using JIRA/ Atlassian tools.

* Experience using Selenium IDE and Web Driver.

* Experience of programming in Java and Python.

* Experience of behavioural driven development BDD.

* Experience of HP ALM (Quality Centre) and Load Runner.

* Experience of JMeter/ JUnit.

* ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing.

* ISTQB Technical Tester qualifications (desirable)

* Certified Agile Tester (desirable)
