I am looking for a UX/UI Designer to work with my client in North Sydney.

This is initially for an 8 week contract, but is highly likely to extend further.

Required experience:

* Minimum 8 years of experience working in a UI/UX design role

* Experience in working with both Marketing and IT team stakeholders

* Relevant tertiary qualifications and design portfolio

* Strong conceptualisation and visual communication ability

* Strong design skills, production value and attention to detail

* Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and associated design tools

* Good knowledge of HTML / CSS

* Ability to create wireframes as well as visual design compositions

* High level of problem solving and critical thinking

* Experience prototyping user journeys

* Experience with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies

* Experience with Web/mobile journeys / businesses is essential

* Experience with working in agile teams is preferable

* High level of problem solving and critical thinking

* Ability to deal with ambiguity to problem-solve in new areas and products

The senior UX/UI Designer will be responsible for leading the design of a commercial website and a mobile app to support an IoT prototype phase.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities will be:

* Respond to briefs from the Brands & Marketing teams to design digital experiences;

* Lead user briefs from the Brands & Marketing teams to design digital experiences;

* Lead the development of customer journey's meet the required user experience for targeted segment

* Show ownership in the end to end digital experience design for the digital products

* Managing and coaching Junior UX Specialist sup, ensure consistent e-commerce elements (where appropriate) across products to enable increased speed to market and reusability for development

* Identify design and resolve design problems in customer journeys

* Lead and ownership the UX style guide development

* Document the user flow for how a user undertakes a digital journey

* Conduct UX design QA and communicate issues to junior resource

* Designing and facilitating design workshop with clients.
