Web Report Designer
We are seeking a Web Report Designer to join this leading Software specialist company who have just received a significant growth investment, making it an exciting time to join the business.
As the Web Report Designer, you will be reporting to the Operations Director. This role will focus on the whole process of the web application reporting suite, including:
* Consultation
* Scoping
* Design
* Costing
* Delivery
* On-going enhancements
Communicating with all areas of the business will be essential at all stages, however, most importantly an understanding of the application architecture and how that links to the reporting suite is key.
Architecture
Actus™ architecture is LAMP (Linux Apache MySQL PHP) stack. Specifically, it is being developed using the Laravel framework which utilises an MVC (Model View Controller) application architecture.
The ideal background for the Web Report Designer role includes:
* Experience of report production software, like Syncfusion is ideal.
* Excellent SQL knowledge to create / modify the queries used for the reports.
* Data Extraction skills to produce and adapt reports rapidly.
* LAMP stack experience is preferred.
* Has an eye for detail and is methodical with experience of user acceptance testing
* Is client focused with excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ideally (but not essential) is familiar with ITIL and has worked in an ISO certified environment (ie: ISO 27001 and ISO 9001)
Web Report Designer
Location
The role is located in Redbourn, Herts so would suit someone from the surrounding areas (Harpenden, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans)
Working Hours
2-3 days a week. Home based is fine but would need to visit the office maybe once a week, maybe more in the initial stages of the implementation project.
Salary
£23-£30k - On a Pro-Rata basis.
